peacock

This week Ophelia and me have been shooting various themes, one of which you can see at the right. We have also been preparing some future sets, since as of the middle of next week we will be in london for a week, shooting for several latex and fashion designers. We will have a few days of outdoors shooting at exciting locations in the heart of london and two days of shooting in one of londons most respected studios. Look forward for some amazing pictures coming up next week! We will also be showing off some hot steampunk couture during our visit at the london edge fashion show. I can hardly wait to meet some old friends. It’s going to be so awesome!

latex nurse

This is an old and typical latex theme, which probably noone can see anymore. Still i have been preparing this for a few years now, ever since i aquired an old military operating lamp, and finally made the picture. Many have tried before her, but Ophelia has proven herself worthy of being just thee best latex nurse i ever had. More shoots ahead!

ice princess

this week saw snowfall in the middle of the summer. i am still pulling little bits and pieces of artificial snow out of every corner of my studio. since the summer is actually already gone for good, ophelia and me went for an icy shooting idea and created the ice princess motive poster i had in the back of my mind for a long time now. we had a three hour styling with ice makeup and to my total suprise it turned out even more beautiful than i ever imagined it. the image will be available as a print in the near future.

the witch elf

this is the second set of leather armour we shot with the lovely ophelia as a luscious witch elf. i’m a little sorry that the armor looks so shiny and new, but that’s what you get when you make product pictures. i normally tend to age them down badly for a more worn and vintage look, but you’ll probably won’t want to buy worn out clothing in an online store ;) we might consider an aging tutorial in the near future though, so you can give your costumes that very special realistic look yourself! Ophelia will return for more shoots next week. Stay tuned!

new medieval gowns

Yesterday Phin Strange and the outstanding little witch Elina shot new medieval garments for the lost legends shop. I’m especially happy about the great session at the medieval setting, and Elina just simply rocked the kids section of our costume store. Stay tuned for all the new pictures at www.lostlegends.de

deaviantWEAR in action

As some of you might already know, i’m a popular deviantart member for a few weeks now, a site that my friend ophelia recommendet to me. i have to admit i really like it, and made over a thousand of new fans in a few days. they also offer a great deal of cool wardrobe for artists with attitude – like fancy shirts and such, one of which i literally HAD to gift to ophelia immediately. she’s a real treat at deviantart and has millions of hits – in a manner of speaking she’s a real pageview whore. hope you enjoy the corresponding picture we just shot. the shirt’s available at deviantart ;-)

the true plastic queen

Many have tried, and many have applied – but she’s the only one – the one true plastic queen: sweet miss ophelias overdose! Ophelia was back for another charming shoot at the plastilicious set, and this time i tried to create a picture with the look of a digital hand painting. this is why i e.g. created all the hair in photoshop, using a wacom tablet. it took approximately 20 hrs, something i probably will never do again, but the result is simply outstanding and will be an amazing poster at our plastilicious wall of fame. enjoy this highly successful deviation of ophelia with see through pvc and golden hair! All hail the queen <3

ophelia’s got horse

Sweetheart Ophelias Overdose was back for a few lovely days and we just had to put her on one of our sweetest steeds to shoot a new set of fantasy/larp leather armor i created from scratch just days ago. She had never done anything like that before and you can tell the fun she had from the images. We all really enjoyed the ride to the mystic forest. Superb thanks goes to Jessi, Martin and Robert for their support.

Janine is back

My lovely princess janine is back and we had an amazing shooting night yesterday, with lots of plastic, latex and fashion. Also i got my highway fu back with the latest addition to my car pool, a brand new fancy black vw touareg, which perfectly matches the horse trailer and which i just can’t stop driving. Needless to say we were out for a cruise after the shoot and really enjoyed the night! life is good! :-)

Say hi to Mira

This beautiful young and noble frisian baby mare is the latest addition to our family and the number one reason why I spent the summer rather outside than in the studio. She has a really loving temper and although she’s still in training, she has already got an amazingly beautiful and typically frisian trot which almost made me cry when i saw her the first time. As of this week we dubbed her mira, and i’m pretty sure she will be soon featured in lots of my future photography. ;-)

Total overdose

Yesterday famous goth beauty Ophelias Overdose hit the studio for a two day shooting of new Steampunk Fashion, and a new wetlook collection for our www.gothickleidung.de online store. Since we have known and like each other for a long time now, a photoshoot was highly anticipated. Here’s a little preview of the shoot. We had a really amazing sunday night and since Ophelia’s still here – she’s my first ever and most lovely reason to not hate mondays ;-)

Go skydive

I’m up for a great weekend. So here’s some advice for a special fellow: If you’re looking for a way to feel like the whole world can kiss your arse, go skydive! If you don’t shit your pants, we’re even! But most probably you’re stuck home with your fat ugly manic wife, while I get all the beautiful – and I don’t even pity you ;-))

Adding Fonts to your iPad

This is for all my iPad buddies out there. Apples new iPad only uses a selection of standard fonts, so far Apple does not offer a solution to install custom font faces, which would be handy when working with iWork documents. This issue has been often criticised so far on iPad reviews and renders it useless for business presentations with e.g. corporate fonts, etc.
I just found a simple way to solve this issue: All you need to do, is jailbreak your iPad, and install openSSH via Cydia. Then use an SFTP client (e.g. Transmit) and upload your custom font (ttf, ttc, otf worked fine for me aswell) to /System/Library/Fonts/Cache/ on your iPad. Login as “root”, default password is “alpine”. Download the CGFontCache.plist from /System/Library/Fonts/ and edit it with Property List Editor.app on your Mac. Simply enter a new key under “Names” corresponding to your font name and file. Upload the .plist back on the iPad, reboot it, and you’re done. Enjoy your custom font in Pages, etc.

Steam Leece

Today was very weird. On my birthday party last weekend we all certainly got really drunk, and jan scheduled three models for shooting in my studio today, which of course we all (except the models) once being sober no longer remembered. So all of a sudden today three beautys showed up and we had hell of a lot of unexpected fun. Here’s on of the results. Enjoy!

girls arms

last weekend phin strange and boundless mind were visiting for our party again. not only did boundless mind break my pinball records again – but phin had this amazing rare vinyl military coat in her trunk so i just had to take a picture of her in it. in fact it were a few hundred pictures. here is a single one of the set for you all. bang bang ;)
p.s.: there will be something pink again this week, never fear!

back from hamburg

hey guys, i’m back from hamburg. we shot great material and partied really hard. i even ran the hamburg marathon (at least a few meters ;-) after three days with literally no sleep at all. (note to self: avoid snoring staff)
here’s a pic i incidentally shot during the filming. thanks again to everyone who was there and made the whole thing thee best few days so far this year. btw faderhead already posted a little teaser preview of the film, which will be released in september.

i face hatebook

Everybody hates it, still though everybody has it, and everybody talks about it. So i too became part of the herd and set up a facebook page. If you like my photography, please feel free to become a fan at facebook. ;-)

strange goes medieval

this weekend phin strange and boundless mind were with us to join a party at a friends house, in retrospective one of the best so far, though i really don’t remember much of it at all. phins wodka-red bull mixing ratio knocked us out completely (this includes herself ;-)
but before the party started we made a few spontaneous pictures in the medieval studio. since phin mostly works as an alternative/goth model we always wondered if she might even fit into a medieval set compellingly – and guess what: she looked outstandingly amazing. enjoy the pic. we will feature more images of the shooting on various pages of our shop soon.
