This is Model Sina Collins as Cara Violet, a character from my upcoming endzeit novel “vinyl city”. In this shooting we tried to portrait a moment of “in your face kicking” toughness, yet preserve the kind of lovelyness you know of her from e.g. the “Endzeit” picture. This was a very difficult pose and I needed to trigger the camera at the exact moment to capture the models kick properly. Normally you would need a very short exposure time for fast movements, but with studio flashlights the limit is around 1/200s, which made the shot even harder.

Editing techniques used:
- Background removed, textured, recolored
- Hand painted facial and belly highlights
- Fixed some unsharpened clothing edges
- Boot deformation
