This was an amazing shooting with Model Seraphine Strange, who modeled a steampunk dress I created from scratch, with matching brass props. Unfortunately the original image is no longer in existence, so what you see as “before” is the previous image from the shot, which is rougly identical, to give you an idea of how the setting looked like unretouched. Working with smoke gives you a very short time frame to shoot in, before the air in the studio gets all opaque and you loose contrast…
