bride of pinbot
never ever would i let someone sit on one of my prescious pinball machines - except for a very special someone who became my bride of pinbot this weekend. there was a long discussion at the pinball forum prior to the shooting, as to whether the cover glass would break with someone lying on top, and the answer is no! ;-)
wings
Here's some with andy and angel wings. to be honest - i totally hate wings. these are actually real ones. they are heavy, they are expensive, and they are a real pain up the arse to handle, and an even bigger pain to store. yet on the other hand - they make a great picture. so please enjoy ;-)
girls booze and rock ānā roll
last weekend was outstanding, though i cannot really remember if there was rock 'n' roll involved. the other two definitely were! not only did we have an insanely awesome cocktail party but went to the studio studio totally drunk at half past six in the morning, then partied on there. here's a shot of leece being the last girl standing still straigt on the paper, and still looking awesome after what would have knocked most of the others out. take an example, girls! we love ya leece!
new star born
Yesterday i shot a very special someone, the most amazing shoot i had for a long time. We have been planning to recreate some old ideas with new state of the art techniques for a few months now, to replace some former art which suffered from poor model skills an lack of expression. Here is the first piece of work, imho one of the most beaufitul pictures i have ever done. Thanks for all your love and support and for showing me true friendship, and how easily replaceable and worthless false and poisonous people are. Can't wait for more. You rock!
Maria’s back!
Finally back on the pink today with russian plastilicious beauty Maria who really rocked the studio out of mid-season break. This is the only girl you can have a whiskey cola with at early mornings! ;-)
Abmahnung
Much to my continuing surprise, there are still many people out there infringing my rights, stealing my work, texts, pictures or even music - not for their private but own commercial use. even though I am quite honored by my popularity, let me enlighten you on one thing: stealing is not cool and will be rightfully prosecuted. Please be aware that I am not ethically responsible if this causes you any damage!
You are always free to apologize and ask for an amicable settlement. But incapability to comply or even denunciating my name on the internet for prosecuting my rights will only result in more expense on your side and is predominantly an unwise step to achieve any settlement in an existing lawsuit. Believe it or not, the rules out there apply to you the same as they do to me. I have to follow them, and so can you!
If you are interested in using my work legally, you are always welcome to inquire for a license quote. Despite my reputation, i do not bite at all - if you ask nicely, though! ;-)
Winter greetings
Hey guys! The last weeks I have been very busy, so less blogging was possible. We are still expanding our office space and have hired three new employees over the last months. During the cold and calm winter nights I also managed to advance about 100 pages on the novel I am working on, and to progress on a few new song ideas. Moreover the next l-tracks cd is currently being pressed and should be out in a few days, so stay tuned! ;-)
Some more Andy
this was done yesterday morning at the plastilicious setting as a warmup prior to the shoot of new medieval clothes downstairs. the lovely dress is inner sanctum.
Kamil reloaded
Today Kamil reprised his role in the male medieval section and we redid most of the old pictures in the new studio. We also reshot all the helmet and armour section, which now looks much nicer and more fitting to the rest of the site.
new plastilicious elena
A new beauty joined the plastilicious website, this is elena, who has been anticipating a shooting with us for a very long time and couldn't wait for it to finally happen. I'm very glad we eventually agreed to a photo session with elena, since the sets truned out extra nicely. Her first set will be added to the site soon and we all hope she'll be back for some more. Head over to plastilicious for a look at her model profile and vote for the first set you want to see.
new plastilicious model marie
since we finished the new studio walls last friday, today was the big shooting day with new plastilicous model marie who's performance was magnificent in the new setup. there are still two more shootings to come this week, jane will reprise her role as plastilicious punk tomorrow and another all new model will join us on friday. Also a lot of new product samples still pile up on my desk, hopefully i will get to photographing them this week too.
hell unleashed
last night was halloween and it was great. right on schedule hell unleashed upon a littly piggy, attracting all the daemons and dark creatures which eventually fed on it. it was magnificent, and so was were the attractions: the fetish fairy mimicked an excellent rendition of santa claus, an icy princess bewitched the guests and quasimodo himself quided the arrivals with his lantern though the hallways full of ghosts and spiderwebs, motion triggered scary traps and animatronic ghouls. thanks to an amazing staff and anyone who came worshiping the grand pumpkin.
spanferkel recipe
We have been anticipating tomorrows halloween feast all day and went on a shopping and decoration spree from morning until now. Time now to prepare the pig, so here's the recipe as promised: start by washing the pig, then dry and rub with salt and pepper, in and outside. stuff the pig with onion, garlic and rosemary, then sew it up with wire. prepare a marinade from one bottle of stout, 1/2l of oil, a corm of garlic, salt, pepper, chili, a tablespoon of honey, juice of half a lemon, rosemary, thyme. we found the ingredients go best inside a blendtec blender (the one that handles iphones). an obligatory apple goes up the mouth. smear the pig with half the marinade the night before, then wrap and keep it cool. use rest of the marinade during grilling. We're all done for tomorrow. now come halloween!
happy halloween
a very happy upcoming halloween to you all, friends and foe alike, especially the latter. soon the dead will walk the earth again, we are having a big party and got creative for the decoration. besides i always wanted to have one of those chairs where you can make people that suck burn in hell via high voltage! so as a little gift to all those who are unable to create on their own, we made this little picture. and if you steal from our website again - next time it'll be the guillotine.
hope you all have a nice and dirty halloween :-)
productive week
This week was really productive. Not only did we finish to prepare our new steampunk collection but built a whole lot of nice new studio props. The cool pink rubber walls and geometrics have successfully been tested today and will debut officially on a plastilicious shoot next month. also we finally made the long awaited ribbelectric chair for halloween (see next post). unfortunately the only employee who really deserved electrocution was already fired months ago. so we have to roast a pig instead for compensation :-) (will post recipe next week)
three frakin’ tires
actually we should be in london by now, where i planned a few interesting photoshoots. instead we spent the whole day at stuttgart airport, where british airways managed to blow three tires of their plane and only have one spare tire on board so they had to cancel the flight. the personnel was highly overstrained with the situation and we had to repass all the security backwards, reclaim our baggage and eventually return home. still i met some really interesting people during this mess, whose day has been spoiled even more than ours :-)
since the free time offers me to seize a few very cool unplanned opportunities this week, dissappointment is kept in limits. i will e.g. be having a viewing appointment with a most beautiful historical half-timbered house in the surrounding area which we potentially plan to move into. really looking forward to that.
new beautiful
Another beauty joined our team and now enchants the holy halls of modeling in the upstairs photo studio: the bride of pinbot! This is the second pinball machine we picked up, as the one originally intended for the studio was too heavy and required an extensive overhaul, so we left it in the basement workshop. This means during all the future shootings, I will be no longer bored, when waiting for the makeup artist to finish styling all the models. Needless to say you will all have to beat me before i let you stand in front of my camera ;-)
medieval studio finished
didn't i tell you all about the finished studio? oh my god! i really forgot that blog! so once again: the new medieval studio for lost legends is done. here's a dirty look at the whole place with all the static decoration. we've been building props and shooting in it bigtime for a while now and replaced most of the really ugly old pictures and models in our shop with fresh new fantasy flair! love the new work so much - I'm totally happy!
in case you want to know: the ceiling logs are actually made from styrofoam and cover all the heating pipes, the window is a total fake, the straw was ordered online and the skull is actually a former female employee ;-)))
three new faces
late night at lost legends, and we just finished to shoot our first day of medieval makeover for mittelalter.net with our tree new flagship sweethearts: giesela, else and juli. no need to mention we had fun! in fact this was the best ever medieval shoot. most of the set ideas have been in our mind since the beginning of acaria an finally were put into practice. huge thanks to the team for two days of preparation and outstanding dedication. there is a huge extra secret though thats still to come... :o)
